Apple released iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 late last week, which among other things, gave iPhone users more wallpaper choices and added a Sports tab to the Apple TV app. There is some bad news for those who have already installed the most recent versions of iOS and iPadOS on their devices. The updates render Apple's Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter dongle incompatible with iPhone and iPad models. The device has a USB-A port connecting devices to your phone or tablet and connects to an iPhone or iPad through the charging port. Additionally, the dongle has a Lightning port that can charge an iPhone or iPad while running an accessory. The iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 updates have resulted in incompatibility with both ports. Several users reported that their dongle stopped working after updating to iOS 16.5 on Reddit.
