Everyone who owns a smartphone can now download iOS 16.5, Apple's most recent iPhone update. The tech behemoth also released comparable software updates for the iPad and Apple Watch. 21 new emoji, including the shaking face, donkey, moose, and jellyfish, were included in iOS 16.4, which Apple released in March. The update also included a new accessibility setting that enables users to automatically dim video when light or strobe effects are detected and notifications for web apps that were added to the home screen.   What features will iOS 16.5 include?   OpenAI has launched an iOS app for ChatGPT, promising that an Android version is coming "soon." The application supports voice input using OpenAI's open-source Whisper speech recognition model, syncs chat history with the web and is free to use. The app works on iPhones and iPads and can be downloaded from the App Store here. According to OpenAI, the app will first go live in the US before being made available in more countries "in the coming weeks." OpenAI did not previously hint at a mobile app, but it makes sense, given ChatGPT's enormous popularity. The AI chatbot debuted in November of last year and quickly gained popularity.
