In search, Google introduces generative AI.
Image by Google Google announced that the "Search Generative Experience" feature is starting to roll out today. The feature aims to directly integrate ChatGPT-style generative AI results into your Google search results page. The feature is now available for those selected as early access users from the waitlist and who had been using the mobile apps. Google's fruitful AI results are displayed in colourful boxes above the standard search results, unlike the typically stark-white Google page with ten blue links. Google will gather a ton of data from various websites and present it in a simple list with links to Best Buy and manufacturer websites for purchasing. This design has the potential to completely change how Google Search results are displayed if it ever becomes widely adopted.
